Hey Readers, SEO is an essential and vital thing for your website or blog to rank.
In this blog, we will discuss what is DA is, Domain Authority, and PA that is Page Authority. Is this an important topic to generate traffic on your website? How is it used in SEO? We will also discuss which plugins or extensions are best to check the authority of other websites without any problem and to spend any penny.
Before all this, lets first be known with the term What is DA and PA.
DA stands for Domain Authority, and PA stands for Page Authority. When you create a website, the name is your domain authority. And when you write an article or anything, that post becomes a page, which is your Page Authority.
This was about the individual names and essential. Now it will clear that how this term is so important.
The first thing is that Google doesn’t accept this DA, Pa. Yes, it sounds a bit confusing. But Google officially doesn’t measure the websites based on DA PA.
You might have seen many websites, which have DA next to 0. Still, the traffic on that website is much higher.
Note: DA PA are not parameters of Google
The only thing which Google approves for ranking your website is the loading speed of the website. If you correct the loading speed of your website, then your website can rank. Besides this, no other factors have been approved by Google for ranking.
DA PA has introduced in the market the company named by Mozbar.
The company researched many websites and ranked them according to some parameters. Like, which domain has backlinks from which pages, how many sites are linked from that domain, from where the traffic is coming on the website, and many other things? They then measured everything and ranked a website on a scale of 100, named Domain Authority. They said that this can might be a reason for a website’s ranking.
In a way, this became a trend after a time in the market.
And thus, many other companies started with this concept.
If you check your Domain Authority on ahrefs, it will be different from Mozbar or any other extension. This is because the companies have different parameters on which bases they rank your website.
Ahrefs only check your backlinks and traffic and show the DA, they don’t count social engagement in the parameters, and it was declared by themselves. Similarly, other extensions have different parameters.
If you check one parameter and think of ranking your website, it won’t be the right way to do so.
This was all about your Domain authority, how it works, and how your domain is connected with other pages.
Now the question is, what is Page Authority:
Similar parameters are given to Page Authority too. Which page on your website gets more traffics, how many backlinks are generated on that particular page, that page is also ranked on the 100 scales.
This is because, whenever you upload something, it’s a new thing. Even if it’s linked with your domain, it has a specific index and ranking when someone inquires about that page. That means it is unique. Therefore it has its different authority.
We know that, whenever we publish some articles on our site, the particular article ranks because of its content, the traffic comes on that specific article and not on the whole website.
Thus, Page authority has its importance.
Now, I hope we are clear with both the terms.
If you think that this website has traffic because of domain and page authority, it won’t be right.
Because the traffic on any website depends on the content, if the content is useful to the readers, it has many clicks. Google automatically ranks that website.
So, don’t have this myth that if your website has good DA, then it will rank. But yes, it can be a sign that your website is much better.
The DA can give you the result of either your site having good backlinks or good traffic. In short, it can help you to judge your website.
