Best Phones of MWC 2026

Explore the top best mobile phones we saw at Mobile World Congress, from Xiaomi, Tecno, Lenovo and more.

Best Phones 2026

Mobile World Congress is currently taking place, and all the biggest companies in the world are launching their mobile phones there.
And there are so many crazy mobile phones launched there that I can’t even begin to tell you. In this article, I’m going to tell you which crazy mobile phones and concepts were launched at MWC 2026. Now, let me clarify here: for those who don’t know, MWC is the Mobile World Congress, and all the companies bring their latest technology there. So, we get to see phones that are being launched for the first time, and devices that aren’t actual devices, but rather a concept from the company that they’ve created this technology. Now, we’ll bring this technology into an upcoming phone or device.

1. Lenovo Legion Go

The first product I’m going to include on this list isn’t even technically a mobile phone, and it comes from Lenovo. Currently, PlayStation and Xbox are experiencing a decline in market share, while handheld consoles are gaining popularity. That means consoles you can hold in your hand. The Nando Switch is also quite popular. Keeping this in mind, Lenovo has unveiled a new concept. So, basically, inside this product, you’ll find controllers that you can attach to it. Where this product gets crazy is that you can remove the controllers. So, when you don’t need its controller, you can remove it, attach a keyboard, and convert it into a laptop. Another interesting thing is that it’s also a fold able tablet. This means you can use its screen in two different sizes. So, if you want, you can use it as a handheld tablet. You can. If you want, you can use it as a full-size tablet. If you want, you can make it a gaming tablet. And if you want, it can even convert into a laptop. So, I really like this concept. My main concern with fold able devices is still their durability. The day it became clear that if you buy a foldable phone or any device, tablet, etc., it won’t break quickly, I think that’s the most important thing for the foldable phone market. But I also really like this concept.

2. Oukitel WP63

The next product I’m going to include comes from Oukitel. This is one of the best phone. For those who don’t know, this is the same company that has been making mobile phones with big batteries for quite some time. Their phones are rugged, meaning they don’t break if dropped. And their target audience is primarily people who go camping. They’ve also launched a new phone called the Oukite WP63. The main highlight of this mobile phone is its 20,000 mAh battery. The second highlight is that it has a large flashlight built in, which can be used in emergency situations. But the biggest highlight is that it has a built-in lighter. Essentially, it’s a device designed for camping. It’s the same kind of lighter you’d normally see in cars, called a coil lighter. It also has a phone and infrared imaging. Most of the other features are camping-friendly. So, essentially, if you’re someone who wants to campaign, this $500 device was officially launched at MWC.

3. Vivo X300 Ultra

If you’re a camera fan, the next phone I’m adding to this list is Vivo’s X300 Ultra. This mobile phone was also launched at MWC. And this is the first phone with a total camera megapixel count of 500. It features two 200-megapixel cameras. It also includes a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50-megapixel front camera. So, the total megapixel count on this phone is 500. The main camera and zoom camera are both 200-megapixel. And the interesting thing here is that Vivo has officially collaborated with Sony on this phone. This means that Vivo has specifically focused on video in this mobile phone. I’ve told you many times that if you’re talking about photos, there’s probably no better camera than the X300 Pro. In fact, I’d even say that if you don’t want to edit photos, the X300 Pro phone will provide you with better photos than expensive big-name DISLR and mirrorless cameras. But this phone takes the video industry to the next level with a 200-megapixel main camera. And more importantly, it also comes with a proper camera rig, which allows for up to 17x zoom. You have the option to install a cooling fan on the back. You can apply an ND filter and convert it into a proper camera for proper production.

4. Honor Alpha

Another phone launched at MWC is Honor’s Alpha. This is more of a camera than a mobile phone, and Honor is essentially calling it the Honor Robot Phone. The reason it’s being called a robot phone is that you might have seen DGI’s Ono 3, which has a gimbal and a camera built into it. This one essentially comes with the same type of camera, which automatically stores itself on the back of the mobile phone. But the amazing thing is that it also uses it as a camera, where it has a 1-inch sensor inside, and it can record very stable video. Because it’s mounted on a gimbal, it can technically serve as both your front and back camera. But the other amazing thing about it is that it’s using the movement of this camera through AI. Normally, when you tell your mobile phone to do something, it gets done. Your mobile phone tells you on the screen or tells you verbally. But in this case, if you ask it a question, it basically makes similar movements and attempts to give facial expressions, just like a human saying yes or no. So, the camera acts like a face. Another advantage is that you can basically interact with it through this camera. You can tell it to record this video or that video, and it will record that as well.

5. Tecno Modular Concept Phone

Another very interesting concept we’ve seen from Tecno is its Concept Modular Phone, which Tecno also calls “This is an all-in-one device.” It’s essentially a very thin device. In fact, it’s so thin that it’s even thinner than the iPhone Air we saw. It has a 3000mAh battery and a single camera on the back. But the amazing thing is that you can attach whatever you need to this mobile phone using magnets. For example, if you need a bigger battery, you can put one on the back. If you need more batteries, you can put another battery on the back. If you need more, you can put three batteries. If you need a better camera, you can add a better camera. You need a LR-type camera; it comes with attachments. If you want to improve the front camera, you can do that too. So, the point is that the accessories that come with it are essentially modules that you can install as per your convenience, and you can create your own custom device. We’ve seen many such concepts before. Google also tried it, but they fail because these modules are so expensive that it’s better to buy a proper ready-made device. But it remains to be seen how TECNO will pull this off. The reason for this is that TECNO makes budget smartphones. So, if anyone can make affordable phones, it’s TECNO.

6. TCL NXTPAPER 70 Prov

TCL also launched a mobile phone called the TCL Next Paper 70 Pro. Now, the “paper” in its name is very important. The reason for this is that TCL is a display company. And the display inside this mobile phone is an E Ink display. This means that its display can operate like a regular mobile phone display, with proper colors.

But you can also convert it to an E Ink display. And for those who don’t know what display is, if you’ve seen a Kindle, the reader used to read books, it’s basically the same display. What happens is that once something is written on the display, it remains there until it’s powered on again. And the advantage of this is that the display puts very little strain on the eyes. A normal display emits light. This one doesn’t have as much light. So, the light that would otherwise be falling on your eyes isn’t reaching your eyes. Another advantage is that it consumes significantly less power and improves your overall readability. So, if you read a lot on your mobile phone, this is very important. But generally, the previous displays were black and white. This one display is a color display and is embedded in a proper phone, a proper smartphone. TCL phones don’t come in Pakistan, but I found the concept quite interesting.

7. Nothing Phone 4a Pro

Technically, Nothing launched its mobile phone in London, but it coincides with the timing of MWC. Furthermore, Nothing recently launched the N 4A Pro. And this is the first time I can say that a Nothing mobile phone not only looks beautiful but also maintains the N DNA. The design of this phone features all the elements of Nothing, including a display on the back and a beautiful design. However, it’s also made of metal, making it a very professional-looking phone. It also features a 144Hz OLA display and a Snapdragon 720 processor. Interestingly, the price tag for this phone is quite high, and I hope it will be launched in the Pakistani market. Another key highlight of this phone, which Nothing is heavily promoting, is its imaging capability of up to 140x. This means you can zoom in quite a bit, and it features a 50-megapixel camera. I’m assuming this 140x feature uses AI, as 140x isn’t normally possible. So, what I can say about this phone is that I really like the design. I also like the specs. But I’ll give my final opinion when it arrives in our studio.

8. Xiaomi 17 Ultra

The final phone I’m going to include on this list, I’ve saved it for the end because I think it’s the most opportune overpowered phone on this list, is Xiaomi’s 17 Ultra, which Xiaomi is also calling the Lite phone because it’s based on LG’s Korea. The Ultra, which Xiaomi is also calling the Lite phone, is made in collaboration with Xiaomi. The amazing thing about it is that it also has a built-in sensor, and because it’s a Xiaomi branded phone, another interesting feature is that it’s the only phone I know of recently that offers mechanical zoom. This means that if you’ve ever owned a normal mobile phone, you’ve probably seen normal cameras. When the zoom lens is installed, it protrudes too far. What happens in mobile phones is that they can’t protrude the lens, so they turn it to one side inside the camera, and there’s a prism in the centre that directs the light. So, your lens is present, but it’s on the inside of the body, so it comes out straight. The lens inside this phone can move back and forth. This means you can control the optical zoom from 70mm to 100mm. When you rotate the rotating dial on the back, it zooms through it, just like you normally do with lenses. So, I really liked this concept. Hopefully, you liked this article.
